NETWORKING – sweatworking, shmoozing and all that. I’ve only been managing events for 16 years and yet I still cringe at the falseness of being put in a room where I’m instructed to break the ice and ordered to mingle.
I also know I’m not the only one.
The thing is I love people, I love finding out about what makes them tick and hearing their stories. But I prefer to dive into the depths rather than stay on a superficial surface.
